Sa'ada  Located in the north of present day Yemen this ancient walled city is still inhabited. The city is built completely from free-formed mud.  The city wall surrounds the ancient city, and visitors can walk around the city on the wall. It is complete with towers.  The buildings in Sa'ada can reach five or six stories high!  The buildings are all formed by layers of mud set to dry in the sun.
