This site comprises a two storey blockhouse for twenty-five
soldiers, a barrack block housing about a hundred soldiers and
a single water tower (most often you see a pair of water towers
on a single building). Each is constructed from black basalt.
You will see a metal construction in the photograph of the water
tower (left of the tower). This construction is made from railway
track. It is quite common to find parts of the railway line being
adapted for other purposes and some of it from the time the railway
was being used including telegraph poles Contribution
