Land of Edom Header
The Hyksos, Kings of Egypt and the land of Edom

This document sets forth the theory that the Edomites were the ancient Hyksos who invaded Egypt. If you are interested in investigating such a theory, we ask that you extend us the courtesy of starting at the beginning of the document, in order to follow our line of reasoning. Please note that this document has been split into fifteen web pages and comprises over 30,000 words. It was first published in 1962 under the title “Whence Came the Hyksos, Kings of Egypt” and has been revised and updated for publication on this website, with an updated Bibliography on Edom.
